To bid on the charity auction participant's time for a "date," reply to a character's Auction Comment below. Please put "BID" in the subject line of your comment to a given Charity Date listing.

You can thread off another character's bid here if you want!

To place a higher bid on a charity date, simply respond to that Auction Comment again with a new "BID" subject line comment.

Ultimate winners will be determined by the players whose characters are participating in the date auction. This may be the final commenter, this may be an RNG win, it may be rule of funny, it may be pre-determined — all criteria are accepted.

I would be, of course. It is for a good cause, after all.

( She allows herself to look a little amused. )

I'm under no delusions that people are eager or willing to spend time with me, but that's the offer. Most I figure I can take out questing. Earns them something back for their generosity.

( She shrugs. It's also usually easier to deal with, but that's neither here nor there. Annie has the opposite of an overinflated sense of her worth as a companion, especially as this whole event is finally winding down by hitting its plateau.

[Lycaon will raise the certificate Annie got him for his assistance in the set up process.]

I bid on you to see if I could win a meal together. You worked hard on this event and from what I am seeing, it has been quite the success. And that should be celebrated.

I will donate my bid and we will dine together in celebration of a successful charity auction.

( She snorts at that, actually startled into a smile. )

Fine, sounds like a deal. Hate to make you eat alone on the certificate I got for you as a thank you.

( She knows he wouldn't, but it's still a kindness, and seems genuinely meant. It's startling to realize there's more of that around her than she generally gives credit for there being. )

[Lycaon's smile stays in place and he nods.]

Excellent. I will donate the moon coins now and we will enjoy ourselves a congratulatory dinner for two. When do you find yourself most available?

( Annie doesn't pretend that there's anything filling her schedule that isn't work, training, or questing, but that's also why she has her phone out and taps herself through to the calendar she keeps. Turning it his way, she shrugs. )

( Annie starts tapping on that day to add him in to her calendar, more so she doesn't forget and thinks about taking on any quests whose timing wouldn't be ideal. )

September 6th then. Planning to meet at the restaurant?

Yes. At 6pm perhaps unless you prefer an earlier or later dinner, of course.

6pm works. I'm either off by then or not working at the Research Center so off sooner. No reason to eat any earlier or later by planning.
