Ultimate winners will be determined by the players whose characters are participating in the date auction. This may be the final commenter, this may be an RNG win, it may be rule of funny, it may be pre-determined — all criteria are accepted.

Well she and I often have amazing fun together. We very much enjoy each other's company and are good friends.

I would not try to get your soul for a bowl of popcorn. No strings attached. I wouldn't do that to someone who Eva loves enough to call boyfriend.

[He steals a kernel from Chipp's bucket and eats it. Then grabs his own and eats more. Then he snaps. Two drinks appear as well.]

Some ginger beer to wash it down, if you want. It's made by this lovely man in North Carolina. Calls it Devil's Foot. Farm to can craft soda. Would you believe it? On the house as well.

The way he lifts his helmet is still careful and nervous, though. It's his security blanket in the face of being out in public.

[His face is flat and his voice is monotone without his helmet, of course. The rizz is stored in the goofy cartoon expressions and computer-augmented voice.]

One of the powers I have still. I am sure you can feel most of my energy is still angelic.

[Which it is. Seems he can just create it. Likely if it exists and he knows of it. Not like he can go creating Keyblades or Reaper Weapons or some shit.]

But I know it only works on small things in this world. Anything big and powerful, I'll need a Wishing Star to get.

I can do champagne fountains too. And caviar mountains. Some of my favorites.

Lucifer gets no smiles for it, but that's more just because Chipp can't smile. Not without his helmet.]

[Usually this kind of silliness would get him to be a little standoffish, feel like he's not being taken seriously -
But honestly? A sudden nose-boop as payment is something Nenonen might have done.

So he's amenable to it.

Which means insert description of the rum he misses here. This would be a good chance to wax poetic about something deeply meaningful and personal to Chipp, get into his motivations and his sense of deep loss and longing when it comes to the home he can never return to and all the memories locked behind him in the world of the living, but the person behind the curtain has never tried rum to begin with and thus doesn't want to get it wrong, so feel free to just imagine it instead okay--]

[Lucifer listens intently and notices there is no smile. Perhaps something to ask when they know each other better. Still, he listens to the full description of Louisiana rum. With a snap of his fingers, boom. A bottle of the very run described. Lucifer picks it up and uses a claw to gently etch a few symbols into the rum.

Then a flash of fire around it and boom! It is blessed rum!]

Here you go. Blessed by the Devil himself. That should get you nice and drunk as it used to when you were a living mortal.

[He may not smile, but it's clear there's something that changes about his expression when he reaches out to take that bottle, bringing it close like it's absolutely precious.

It looks every bit like he remembers it.

And if you didn't know any better, you could almost say his eyes look a bit watery, looking it over... but no, surely that can't be true. Can it?]

[Lucifer's safe softens seeing the tenderness in Chipp's expression and especially his movements. He shakes his head. He unfurls his wings and flies up some so he can put his hand on Chipp's shoulder. You're too tall, sir.]

Friends give things to friends to make them happy. Not for anything in exchange. If you want to give me something else, one day. Feel free.

Now. How about we discuss splitting the date with Ezra so we both get part of the time with him? Or take him on a sort of double date with both of us? Huh?

{ honestly he hasn't been interacting with the bids all that much since trying to sort out his business thing is taking all his money. he's just been on the silent auction side to pop down a few here or there when he makes it back to the date auction side.

besides, if annie asks for help during the evening he's promised to do what he can. she's taken a lot on, and is a good friend despite him laughing at her suffering when she first announced this.
